Understanding P-values
In hypothesis testing, the p-value helps determine the statistical significance of your results. It's the probability of observing results as extreme as, or more extreme than, your sample results if the null hypothesis were true.
A small p-value (typically ≤ 0.05) suggests strong evidence against the null hypothesis, leading to its rejection. Conversely, a large p-value (> 0.05) indicates weak evidence, and we fail to reject the null hypothesis.
