How decimal to percent conversion works
A decimal becomes a percentage when you multiply it by 100. That is the same as moving the decimal point two places to the right and writing a percent sign.
What the first-screen visual means
The strip shows how much of a full 100% bar your decimal represents. A decimal like 0.75 fills three quarters of the bar because it equals 75%.
When this tool helps
Use it for grades, discounts, test scores, probability, finance, and any worksheet where values switch between decimal and percent form.
