Understanding Cube Volume

In geometry, a cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces, facets or sides, with three meeting at each vertex. The cube is the only regular hexahedron and is one of the five Platonic solids. It has 6 faces, 12 edges, and 8 vertices.

The volume of a cube is the amount of space it occupies. It is calculated by multiplying the length of the cube's side by itself three times. If 's' is the length of a side of the cube, the formula for the volume (V) is:

V = s3

For example, if a cube has a side length of 5 cm, its volume would be 5 cm × 5 cm × 5 cm = 125 cubic centimeters (cm³). This calculator simplifies this process, allowing you to quickly find the volume of any cube by just entering its side length.
